About Me

About Me
I graduated with a B.A. from the University of Iowa where I studied in the Writers’ Workshop with a number of America’s most notable writers and poets. My poetry has appeared in over thirty literary journals. I formerly served as editor-in-chief for Conclave: A Journal of Character and was invited back as a guest editor, during which time I judged the Rilla Askew Short Story Prize and the Carl Sennhenn Poetry Prize. I grew up in the Chicago area and have lived all over the United States. I now live in coastal Virginia with my husband, two kids, white German Shepherd, and two rescued cats. My fiction is represented by The Linda Chester Literary Agency.
