Brief Bio
Savannah Thorne graduated with a B.A. from the University of Iowa where she studied in the Writers’ Workshop with Jorie Graham, James Galvin, Gerald Stern, and other notable poets. She also holds two cum laude Master’s degrees, one from DePaul University in Chicago and one from Norwich University in Vermont. Her poetry has appeared in over thirty literary journals. Originally from Chicago, after Hurricane Isabel hit her home in 2003, she has lived all over the United States. She served as editor-in-chief for Conclave: A Journal of Character for a number of years, and currently works as a freelance editor.
