I'm a writer, just like you. But possibly unlike you, I have spent over twenty years in the writing business, and nearly a decade managing a Chicago literary journal. Under my leadership, the magazine went from a small niche publication to a strong-selling journal that included top names in the fields of fiction, poetry, and memoir.
I know aspiring authors can't afford exorbitant rates. So I work affordably, with each author, to respect your vision and your budget. I am dedicated to guiding and forging the craft of newcomers and longstanding bestsellers alike.
I will help you strengthen your manuscript and bring your draft to its best form. I especially love literary prose, historical fiction, and emotionally layered work, but have edited everything from poetry collections to motivational non-fiction to sci fi.
