I'm not just an editor, I'm a writer, too!

At the B.A. level, I graduated from the University of Iowa where I was accepted early into the Writers’ Workshop, where I learned from many of America's most notable poets. My poetry has been published in over a dozen journals, and I was a three-time finalist for the Casey Shay Mary Ballard Poet’s Prize​, won Honorable Mention for The Missouri Review Poet’s Prize​, and took fourth Place in the Fall, 2008, New Hampshire Poet’s Prize.
